4 Healthy Trick or Treat Snacks Ideas for Babies

Updated: Oct 28, 2022

Candies make an integral part of the Halloween celebration. But you may still want to distract your kids from refined sugars of these candies to healthier options of natural sugars. Here are healthy trick-or-treat snacks you can prepare for your baby this Halloween.

Pumpkin Pie Yogurt

This recipe from Mama Knows Nutrition uses only five ingredients. Get plain, full-fat yogurt, pumpkin spice, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, and vanilla extract and mix them in a bowl. After stirring well, serve it with apple slices to your toddler.

Or you can also serve it with your child’s favorite granola.

Boo-nana Ghosts

These are the safest trick or treat snacks from All the Nourishing Things you can offer to trick-or-treaters. You only need three ingredients and ice cream sticks to make these ghosts. Take bananas, cut them in half, stick an ice cream stick into the flat side of the banana, and let it freeze. Then, dip frozen bananas into melted coconut butter and freeze again. You have to decorate the frozen dessert with chocolate chips or berries.

Halloween Toast

This Halloween toast from Health Little Foodies is spookily easy. Spread the toast with cheese then cover it with cucumber ribbons, making them look like a wrap on mummies. You can use black olives in place of eyes.
